1. The Great Wall of China

The first place you should visit if you were in China is The Great Wall. This is an important monument since IT reflects the collision and exchanges between agricultural civilizations and nomadic civilizations in ancient China. Thus, if you had the possibility of being in Chine, you could take wonderful photographs of the landscape from this enormous and historical place. In addition, the Great Wall of China provides significant physical evidence of the far-sighted political strategic thinking and mighty military and national defense forces of central empires in ancient China and is an outstanding example of the superb military architecture, technology, and art of ancient China. It embodies unparalleled significance as the national symbol for safeguarding the security of the country and its people. To conclude, if you had the opportunity to ask a Chinese citizen what the most important monument to visit is, without any doubt, they will answer, the Great Wall.

2. The Terracotta Army in Xian

The second place you should visit if you were in China is The Terracotta Army in XianThe Terracotta Army was constructed to accompany the tomb of China's First Emperor as an afterlife guard. There are thousands of detailed life-size terracotta soldier models representing the guard troops of the first emperor — Qin Shihuang. They were molded in parts, fired, then assembled and painted. If you were in this place, you could be able of feeling that you returned to the past, to the beginning of the Chinese Civilization.
The Terracotta Army Museum in Xi'an is a must-see. It is considered one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world, and one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century.

3. The Forbidden City in Beijing

The third place you should visit if you were in China is Forbidden City in BeijingThe Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, lies in the city center of Beijing and was once the Chinese imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is the largest, best-preserved ancient timber-built palace complex in the world. Then, if you were in Beijing, you should have to take the time to visit The Forbidden City. Rectangular in shape, the Forbidden City is enormous, covering an area of 72 hectares, and boasting more than 9,000 bays of rooms. It is divided into two parts – the Outer Court for national affairs in the south and the Inner Court as living quarters in the north. It is not only an immense architectural masterpiece but also a treasury housing a unique collection of 1.8 million pieces of art, including ancient calligraphy and painting, imperial artifacts, ancient books, and archives. Therefore, if you visited the Forbidden City you should ask for a guide to not get lost and enjoy all the places. A must-see in Beijing and the world’s most visited museum, it is worth spending half to one day visiting the Forbidden City and appreciating the precious cultural heritage of China.

4. The Bund Shanghai- International Architecture

The fourth place you should visit if you were in China is The Bund Shanghai- International ArchitectureThe Bund is a riverfront area and refers to a section of Zhongshan Road. The Bund runs a mile along the western bank of the Huangpu River, stretching from a T-junction between Zhongshan Road and Yan’an Road to the southern end of the Waibaidu Bridge. Within this section, there are 22 historical buildings directly facing the river and two former British consulate buildings being in a yard. They each have a special street number from the No.1 Bund to the No. 33 Bund. Some street numbers were reserved or combined and will never be used again. In this, sense, if you had the idea of visiting The Bund Shanghai I should recommend wearing comfortable shoes, clothes to visit most of the buildings and of course a camera to take many pictures of these buildings.

5. Victoria Harbor

The fifth place you should visit if you were in China is Victoria HarbourVictoria Harbour is a natural landform harbor in Hong Kong separating Hong Kong Island in the south from the Kowloon Peninsula to the north. The harbor's deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on the South China Sea were instrumental in Hong Kong's establishment as a British colony in 1841 and its subsequent development as a trading center. The harbor is a major tourist attraction in Hong Kong. Then, if you visited Victoria Harbour you could meet people from almost every part of the world. Lying in the middle of the territory's dense urban region, the harbor is the site of annual fireworks displays and its promenades are used as gathering places for residents and also tourists.
